Footprint calculators

BioRegional's footprint calculator provides a personalised action plan to help you live more sustainably
The best way to achieve a more sustainable lifestyle is to find out what your individual eco-footprint is and then make a plan to tackle the areas where your impact is greatest.
We have listed below a range of ecological and carbon footprint calculators from around the world that will allow you to do just that.
Wherever possible it’s best to look at your total footprint, including the impact from energy use, transport, waste, food, water and all the other things you buy and use (this is your ecological footprint). Your carbon footprint is more limited as it just looks at carbon from things like energy use and transport.
Unfortunately there aren’t calculators for every country in the world yet, but we have done some research to find the best ones out there and have listed them below. The calculators in the list below all use the internationally-recognised Global Footprint Network methodology.
